I was playing around in Illustrator tonight after learning some new techniques, and I thought it would be good practice to try sort of re-create my recent circus design digitally.
Obviously it isn't an exact re-creation. I don't normally do black outlining on my illustrations, but it was fun to learn a way of doing it in case I ever want to.
Which version do you like better? I think both of them have their good points, but I am kind of partial to the original painting :)

I think it's great to be able to first draw on paper and then bring it into the digital realm to finalize it. I think both are great, each one could be used for different purposes. The first one looks like wall art, and the digital version looks like a cartoon show :)
